Skiing and snowboarding in Grossarl

Fun on the ski slopes direct on the doorstep

The Grossarl Valley is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders: The region Grossarltal-Dorfgastein is part of the enormous “Ski amadé”, the largest skiing region of Austria with around 860 kilometers of best prepared pistes and with 270 modern lifts. The Grossarl mountain cable cars are only 400 m away from our Holzleb`n Holiday Village and the best is yet to come: You do not need a car to get there. Just put your skis on and go with the Children’s Ski Lift, just across from the holiday village and ride up our “house mountain”. From here you have only a few steps to the Gondola of the Grossarl Mountain Cable Cars and your entrance to the whole Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski region.

Or maybe you would like to take the ski bus, which every quarter of an hour leaves directly outside our holiday village to the valley lift station (free of charge). So now the fun on the ski slopes can begin for young and old! There is also a possibility at the ski school to book children for children ski courses.
The Children’s Ski Lift is only a few steps away from your chalet or holiday apartment, just across from the Holzleb'n Holiday Village. Ideal for beginners or also for tobogganing or bobsleigh. Children under 6 are free of charge.
In addition to the broad slopes and deep snow slopes of Ski amadé, snowboarders can also enjoy the Snowpark Grossarltal just below the “Sonnenbahn” mountain lift station: Here beginners and also advanced snowboarders have 300 m with Rainbow Butter Box or The Mushroom.
